1 · Site & sectors

Take the coordinates with GPS on the ground, away from the structure — or pass them in from Navigator as a URL parameter.

Downtilt is optional — leave it blank and the sector is judged on azimuth only. Positive = tilted down.

Default assumes the phone lies flat on the back of the antenna, screen facing away from it. Tilt is read from gravity — no calibration needed, and it does not drift.

Tap a reference point on the map that is visible from the site (another tower, chimney, junction…).

3 · Zero calibration

ALIGN CROSSHAIR ON REFERENCE POINT

Hold the phone upright. Line the vertical crosshair up exactly on the point you picked on the map. When the indicator reads "Steady", tap Calibrate.

Method: relative gyroscope + geodetic offset. The magnetometer is not used — tower steel and 5G antennas cannot disturb the measurement. The only enemy is slow drift — re-calibrate every few minutes.
